The Business Development Manager is at the forefront of our events team. We are looking for a personable, energized, stylish, and out of the box thinker to tap into the vast events market in NSW. Use your contacts and strong market knowledge to develop rapport with new clients and grow existing accounts. Reporting to the Director of Events in Sydney head office the full time Business Development role will be responsible for:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and convert to increased business.
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients, and decision makers within client’s organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings with client/ decision makers.
  • Maintain and identify growth potential within existing accounts.
  • Develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Entertain clients
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Understand sales targets and ensure they are met.
  • Track and record activity on accounts in company’s CRM system.

The Candidate:

  • Friendly outgoing personality who can hold their own
  • Curiosity to meet others in social settings
  • Stylish and versed in current events and pop culture
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Well versed in IT skills (Office : Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Quick learner – we have our own proprietary software.
  • An events and or sales background I.e. venue, agency, or furniture and theming companies.
  • Positive, with a ‘can do’ attitude that can work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work extended hours in peak periods if required

Location: Sydney

We are looking for people to join our Operations Team to deliver and install furniture.

This is a full time position which will require you to drive a truck to various locations around the CBD and surrounding suburbs. An MR truck licence is required. If you don’t have a licence, you can join as an assistant and still be involved in all major projects.

You will work on deliveries and installations for major events, property styling, and major corporate projects. Most importantly, you will be required to handle and carry furniture and install it into position. There will be heavy lifting, delivery docket signing, and customer service required in the role.

This is a full time role paying above award wages and as much overtime available as you would like to work. You will need to be well presented and well-mannered. A full uniform, including shoes, will be provided. Your customer service skills will make you pleasant to interact with. We will provide you with a scope which will allow you to grow and develop within our company.
