Graphic Designer

Location: Sydney

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional in-house mid-weight Digital Graphic Designer to join our company and play a key role in growing our brand by way of graphic material creation and campaign ideation.

As Digital Graphic Designer, your visual communication expertise will be key in helping plan and execute impactful campaigns to strengthen our brand, including the amplification of our online and social media presence.

You will be working closely with our Marketing Manager, Senior Creative Stylist/ Procurement Manager, and Marketing Executive from campaign development to translating these into effective and engaging executions across a broad range of platforms, including assistance in social media strategy.

Job tasks and responsibilities

70% digital campaign related tasks and materials, 20% brand management and social media strategy related tasks, 10% simple print material and a broad range of other creatives.

  • Designing & building digital campaign creatives for integrated digital marketing campaigns for the different Valiant Brands – EDMs, social posts, email banners, banner ads, and website material
  • Playing a key role in integrated campaign planning, with an emphasis on social media executions across key social media channels. This may include brainstorming on copy.
  • Creation of simple yet engaging video content for social media using curated material from stylists
  • Assistance in managing website updates & laying out of blog posts and other content
  • Designing a range of simple print materials and preparing them for print suppliers - ads, fliers, banners, etc.
  • Reviewing of materials created by other teams to ensure branding guidelines are adhered to
  • Curation and updating of templates for internal teams - presentations, existing sales collateral, etc.
  • Assisting with photo and video shoots when necessary

Skills and experience

  • 2-3 years in an agency or in-house creative team with a strong design portfolio
  • Experience being involved or having assisted with social media strategy and/or coordination is a big plus.
  • Experience creating impactful visuals for integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Front end design ability is a big plus
  • Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere or equivalent) is a plus
  • Photography experience a plus

RESIDENTIAL INTERNAL SALES SUPPORT

Location: Brisbane

Department: Short Term and Long Term Property Styling

The primary role of the Internal Sales Support is to provide excellent customer service and sales consultation to all external customers, act as a key administrative support to the Short Term/ Long Term Property Styling Division and maintain accurate record keeping on all areas of the company.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Provide exceptional customer service and sales consultation to all external customers

  • Answer incoming phone calls within 3 rings
  • Acknowledge incoming email enquiries same day
  • Build & maintain relationships with clients
  • Create a quote that identifies with the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Provide quote to client within Valiant 12 hour policy and/or by the client’s
  • Adhere to the company’s set mark-up guidelines and gross profit returns
  • Follow up outstanding quotes within Valiant 24 hour policy, or sooner based on turn-around requirements
  • Meet divisional team sales targets

2. Act as key administrative support to the Property Styling Division

  • Process sign offs accurately
  • Invoice bookings and secure client payment prior to dispatch or within account payment terms
  • Provide detailed dispatch/collection documentation to Warehouse within Valiant 48 hour prior to dispatch/collection policy
  • Maintain and assist in managing existing client contracts
  • Extend and manage contracts
  • Prepare interstate stock transfer documentation
  • Liaise with other divisions to manage best use of company assets

3. Maintain accurate record keeping for the company

  • Document all bookings and quote in the Property Styling Sales
  • Update Hubspot
  • Purchase Orders raised prior to dispatch and coded to the correct costing center
  • Debtor accounts are set up correctly
  • Email Management

4. Assist the Office departments:

  • Debtor & Creditor Account reconciliation for Short/Long Term Property Styling
  • Contract conversion
  • After sales documentation & credit requests
  • Stock Control
  • Filing
  • Company Email Management Systems
  • Adhere to and development of task procedures
  • Assist in creating stream line procedures
