The SensorMapsii motion sensors are advanced Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors that operate based on detecting fluctuations in infrared light emitted by objects within their range. The moment this smart sensors sense movement in combination with a change in temperature, such as when you step into a meeting room, they instantly spring into action, sending a prompt signal to the mapsii platform hub, indicating that the area is now occupied.

Our platform provides users with secure access to real-time data on desk and office space usage, meeting room occupancy, neighbourhood balance, and other important metrics. The location occupancy color quickly changes from GREEN to RED, but takes at least 10 minutes to transition back to GREEN.
