The styling for the 2026 AFL Season Launch at Sydney Town Hall embraces an Autumn Awe aesthetic, drawing on a warm, deep colour palette to create a sense of heritage, prestige and anticipation for the season ahead. Rich burgundies, burnt umbers, deep charcoals and warm timber tones reflect the mood of autumn in Sydney, while complementing the grandeur and historic architecture of the venue.

A standout feature of the space is the custom-built media wall, designed with traditional mouldings and detailed trims to mirror the timeless character of Sydney Town Hall. This bespoke installation showcases a curated collection of both archival and contemporary AFL imagery, celebrating the players, clubs and key figures who have shaped the league’s story. The layered frames create a gallery-like moment that invites guests to reflect on the rich history of the game while looking ahead to the new season.

Seasonal florals and textural greenery in deep reds and warm tonal hues soften the space and introduce a natural element, while maintaining the richness of the overall palette.
