Urbanity 2025

A Fusion of Furniture, Design, and Future Thinking

As proud Furniture Partner of Urbanity 2025, we were thrilled to once again support The Urban Developer’s flagship conference — a platform where innovation, design, and development converge. This year, we played a dual role: bringing premium event furniture to key zones throughout the venue, and attending as part of the Interiors team to engage with industry leaders shaping the future of Australia’s built environment.

Furniture That Framed the Conversation

Held at The Star, Broadbeach, Urbanity 2025 brought together developers, architects, placemakers, and creatives from across the country. As the official furniture partner, we curated and installed a range of versatile and design-led pieces to support functionality, flow, and aesthetic continuity across the venue.

Here’s a snapshot of the areas we furnished:

  • Registration Area: Welcomed guests with our Service Bars and Stadium Grid Screens, setting a sleek and professional tone.

  • Main Stage Seating: Created a comfortable and design-forward presentation zone with our Monty Armchairs and Audrey Side Tables.

  • Terrace Outdoor Seating: Embraced the Queensland climate with Reeves Folding Tables and Reeves Dining Chairs – perfect for fresh-air networking.

  • Workshop Marquee: Supported collaboration with a curated mix of Dante Curved Tapas Tables, Bentwood Dining Chairs, Pillar Tapas Tables, and Chloe Bar Stools.

  • Breakout Lounge Areas: Offered moments of pause and connection with Sierra Armchairs & Sofas, Mila Coffee Tables, Idra Bar Tables & Stools, Audrey Bar Tables, and Cresence Bar Stools.

Each setting was designed with functionality and aesthetics in mind — enhancing the attendee experience while complementing the architectural energy of the venue.

A National Interiors Presence

Urbanity wasn’t just an opportunity to showcase our furniture — it was also a valuable platform for our Valiant Interiors team to immerse themselves in the latest trends, insights, and future-thinking discussions.

Representing the Interiors division were:

  • Clara Hinch, National Interiors Sales Manager
  • Maddison Mergard, Growth Manager QLD
  • Bree Oliver, Growth Manager NSW
  • Helena Hancock, Growth Manager VIC

Across three days, the team connected with builders, developers, and property leaders, gaining valuable insight into what’s next for commercial and residential projects — from Build-to-Rent models to display suite innovation and sustainable fit-outs.

Driving Conversations That Matter

As the industry looks to respond to evolving consumer needs and design preferences, events like Urbanity provide a vital space for collaboration and future planning. For Valiant, it was rewarding to engage in conversations not just about what spaces look like, but how they serve the people who use them. Our Interiors team walked away energised by the discussions around:

  • Creating flexible, scalable interior solutions
  • Integrating sustainable practices into furniture selections
  • Customisation for residential and commercial leasing packages
  • The role of styling in helping properties perform in competitive markets

A Shared Commitment to Design Excellence

From furnishing high-traffic conference zones to connecting one-on-one with developers, Urbanity 2025 was a perfect reflection of what Valiant stands for: flexible design solutions, people-first thinking, and a commitment to raising the bar across both interiors and events.
